The normal method of measuring the size of a standard tree is by its girth. This measurement refers to the circumference or girth around the stem of the tree at a height of 1metre above ground level.
The normal method of measuring the size of a Feathered or Multi-stem tree is by its overall planted height and is usually given as a bracketed measurement. Eg 200-250cm.
